Katie Chuba has been named President of the Novi Chamber of Commerce

Novi, MI - December 4, 2024 - Katie Chuba has been named President of the Novi Chamber of Commerce. Chuba formally accepted the offer extended by the Chamber Board of Directors and assumed her new duties on December 4, 2023.        

       

“We are excited to turn the reins of the Chamber over to our new President, Katie Chuba.” said Bryan Smith, Chairman of the Chamber Board of Directors. “She has the experience that the Chamber needs with fresh ideas, and a unique perspective that will help drive the future of the Novi business community.”        

 

Chuba recently served as the Director of Membership for the International Hearing Society, an association serving more than 2500 hearing healthcare professionals worldwide. Prior to that, she served for 6 years as the Executive Director for the Hartland Area Chamber of Commerce where she worked to increase revenue and assisted area businesses with tools, resources, and strategic opportunities for growth. Chuba brings over 20 years of business development and program management experience to the Novi Chamber.        

 

“I look forward to engaging with local businesses, city leaders and the community as we focus on strengthening our chamber to serve and support chamber members.” Chuba said. “I appreciate the confidence of the Chamber Board and am eager to get started.”        

 

Chuba is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in Communications and Management and has completed the Leadership Livingston program from Cleary University. She resides in Hartland with her husband and is a mom of four daughters. She enjoys anything outdoors, working out, and watching her daughters play high school and college lacrosse.
