  • Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements
  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage patient scheduling, including appointments, follow-ups, and cancellations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Review care plans and assist in the documentation of patient information.
  • Perform medical coding using ICD-9 and ICD-10 systems for billing purposes.
  • Provide medical administrative support by answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and directing calls appropriately.
  • Assist with the preparation of medical charts and ensure all necessary documentation is complete prior to patient visits.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and communication.

 

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Required)
